Thanks for your interest in my studies!

Although evidence suggests there may be a relationship between context, expectancies, and subjective effects of cannabis, this link has not been yet explored in depth. So, the aim of my research is to examine how cannabis users’ mindset (set) regarding their products can interact with their context (setting) to shape their experience of being high.

Currently, I'm recruiting for two studies.

All information will be kept anonymous and confidential.

Study 1: Smartphone Study

This study will take place for 7 days, during which participants will keep a diary about their cannabis use and their experience with intoxication using a smartphone app. The diary should be filled only whenever cannabis is used, and doesn’t have to be filled every day.

Participants who complete the study will be sent £15 (or currency equivalent) through PayPal.

Requirements

18+ Years Old
Own a smartphone
Live in the UK or US
Use cannabis regularly (at least 2 times a week)

Study 2: Survey Study

This is a 20-30 minute survey which is completely anonymous, where participants will be asked about (1) what they expect when using cannabis, (2) their latest cannabis use session (if it happened within the past 7 days), and/or (3) the menu they use to purchase cannabis, if they live in an area where cannabis is illegal.
